Jo Self
Jo Self is arguably the most exciting flower painter of the twenty first century. In 2004, Jo painted the garden His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and met him on no less than nine separate occasions. She is currently putting the finishing touches to a much talked about exhibition, due to open at the end of the year.
Jo has volunteered to donate a painting to be auctioned off for ITDG and Free Wheels East. We asked her to be our patron and she accepted.
Please take the time to have a look at her work by visiting her gallery’s website: www.redfern-gallery.com

Edwin Tucker
I am excited for Ben and Jamie as they set forth on their odyssey. Their preparation has been thorough which will help them a long long way towards realising their goals. Before they even left and infinitely more so by the time they return, they have taken large steps into understanding and contributing positively to the world around them. Tail winds to the Free Wheels East duo, Ben and Jamie. Keep safe and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime, guys.
Short bio:
Riding a bicycle around the world seemed like a good idea at the time and completing my own circumnavigation in 2004 proved it. Somewhere over 2.5 years, 22 countries and 22,000 miles I learned a lot more about myself and the people we share the planet with.
